Day 3: How to remember everything – method 1

how to remember everythingWe all do it – we all have piles of old notebooks, post it notes, scribbled pages of A4, flipchart papers. The moment you put pen to paper, the data is effective lost – it becomes unsearchable (unless you go through the labourious process of scanning it) and you can guarantee that contact, that URL or that telephone number is never quite where you need it.

So what if we could recommend a system which answers the question of “How to remember everything?“Imagine a system where you collected everything in one place… A system which made information taggable, searchable and editable? Imagine if that information was always with you (or on the end of an Internet connection at least) and it was free to use? That would be cool wouldn’t it?

Today we’re going to show you such a system. Later in the course, we’ll show you an alternative – you can then use what you are most suited to.

The key to success here is to get focused – change your habits. Developing a personal knowledge database (which is effectively what we are talking about here) is a great skill, but takes time, energy and dedication. It’s worth it though!

Let’s get going…
